The Agli Alboretti restaurant was a meeting
place for artists and art patrons in the 1950s and ‘60s. Peggy Guggenheim
often dined there with her artist friends. After a period of closure,
the restaurant was reopened about 15 years ago to revive a place with
a celebrated past. The successful combination of Anna Linguerri, owner
and sommelier, and Pierluigi Lovisa, inquisitive, innovative chef, has
resulted in a small, mixed range of very carefully prepared dishes, with
traditional recipes and new flavours, aromas and colours, all accompanied
by selected wines from the best Italian winemakers.
