Brick pastry dumplings with apple and raisins

Ingredients (serves 6)
6 sheets of brick pastry dough
6 large apples
100 gm. sugar
70 gm. butter
50 gm. icing sugar
1 pinch of cinnamon
100 gm. raisins
1 lemon


Preparation
Soak the raisins. Peel and core the apples, chop them into 1 centimetre cubes and soak in water and lemon. Heat the butter in a pan, add the apples, the drained raisins, sugar and cinnamon and cook for about 7 minutes. Lay out the sheets of dough and put 2 generous spoonfuls of the apple mixture on each. Wrap into dumplings and sprinkle with icing sugar. Bake in the oven at 200°C for 5 - 6 minutes and serve hot.
