(Venice biscuits)
Vini da Gigio
Ingredients (serves 6)
250 gm. butter
200 gm. sugar
250 gm. plain flour
150 gm. corn flour
a pinch of salt
vanillin
½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
200 gm. raisins
6 egg yolks
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients and shape into small ovals of about 5 centimetres.
Arrange on an oven tray covered with oven paper and bake at 180° for
30 minutes.
